Razz is one of the different types of poker games that is a variation on 7 and is the dream game of people with bad luck. You stand to gain if you have a very bad hand. In a real game, A-2-3-4-6-7-8 would have you breaking things, in Razz you are scooping up the pot. You require the lowest ranked hand to be a winner; otherwise the rest is the same as 7 stud. Only 5 cards play just like normal stud.
Triple Draw is one more game which is drawing a lot of interest these days. It is one of the most thrilling and fun filled poker games. If you play it properly, it can earn you lots of money. This game is played often at low levels for the fun of it. This game is more or less a version of Razz that uses 5 card draw as its model. You are dealt 5 cards and there is a round of betting. You may throw away the cards you don’t want but see that you have the worst possible hand. 2-3-4-5-7 is great for standard Triple Draw. After the first draw has been completed, there is another round of betting and then another discard round. The third and last draw is followed by one more betting round and then the showdown takes place. No pairs, flushes or straights are necessary to win. You only require the worst cards to win.
